The glazed skin on the new Norman Foster luxury tower at 100 East 53rd Street and Lexington is almost complete. The building will contain a high end European style food court. It’s a great addition to East Midtown and the New York City skyline.

7 Bryant Park, the sexy new skyscraper shaped like an hour glass at the corner of its namesake, is nearing completion for 2015. The building is close to securing its first tenant, a law firm by the name of Reed and Partners. The company is expected to take no less than 160,000 square feet of occupancy, or 30% of the building. The Bank of China is also eyeing tenancy in the building. It was designed by Pei Cobb Freed & Partners Architects, and will reach 30 stories and 471,000 square foot when complete.
This is the 58-foot wide skylight “oculus” inside of the newly constructed Fulton Center subway station in lower Manhattan. The trains located in the station are the A, C, 2, 3, 4, 5, J and Z. The transit hub will also feature 60 thousand square feet of retail, dining and commercial office space.
